// "Meditation is not to escape from society, but to come back to ourselves and see what is going on. Once there is seeing there must be acting. With mindfulness we can know what to do to help...

...Wake Up Together
The pure land is now or never
   Peace is every step
   It's now
   Be still and know
   This is it"

Thich Nhat Hanh

//Sensations of childhood tend to disappear against the nonsense of life that the maturity does not handle so well.

Have you got at least a little of the excitement you had in your childhood?

//
The city was rocked by several cultural waves. Mixtures as the Mongol and Turkish invasions, as the Austrian rule, as the communism domination, as the existential swing of the gypsy music and... This mixture would gave birth to what? Well, I just touched a little bit of that in a series of three acts.

/ACT 3/
It was a powerfull feeling when I was filming the sunset at the Liberty Bridge and I listened a piano among the cars and trams. Surprise was one thing and the another was a wild sweet instinct of Guillemette performance. The situation involved me and my girl in such a way that we just seeing us holding back the tears. Well, my words seems stupid and I can't translate that feeling, either in words or on video. Anyway here's a sample of what was.

// What two Latin Americans from Mexico can
see, fell, rationalise, elucidate, draw and
so on in a Germanic atmosphere?
Ernesto Lucas and Tania Maria embrace
the culture shock and find intriguing ideas,
perhaps not too "latin" nor too "germanic"!
But surely they were like a juggler to find
something else.

UPDATES:

Published on the independent travel magazine and TV Matador. As I can see the network Matador has a excellent proposal! Check it out:

matadornetwork.com/tv/drawing-munich/

"Two backpackers from Latin America absorb and process culture in Bavaria.

Through utilizing their mobile skills and passions, Ernesto and Tania aim to have a truly original experience in Munich. As an artist, I feel inclined to do the same myself, because it seems self-expression while abroad leaves me open to a thorough absorption of a destination – not to mention more invested in where I am. These two men “see, feel, rationalize, elucidate, and draw” in this beautiful city while busking on the streets and connect with others in their same circles."

Review on the german Blog:

shortbreakblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/kurfilm-zwei-mexikaner-in-munchen.html

"Short Film: Two Mexicans in MunichDealing with prejudices and stereotypes is certainly one of the most delicate aspects of travel. And confirmed in the short film "DRAWING MUNICH" in wonderful ways. Two Mexicans, Ernesto Lucas, Tania Maria, describe their experiences in 15 minutes in Munich, pointing to the typical and holding the bare index finger skillfully in his pants pocket. Very nicely done and charming. Congratulations to the filmmakers!" (Google Translate. From German)
